The time Charlie rode with Terry Melcher and Dennis Wilson to the Cielo Dr house to drop off Melcher, Charlie was actually singing and playing guitar in the back seat during the drive

Charlie was hoping more for a show business carreer much more than he claimed.

Melcher pissed off Manson real bad by not recording him.

I've noticed even Charlie's earlier songs have certain brainwashing type lyrics in them, do you think he invisioned having a MASSIVE family by trying to get his music known?

Many people have talked about Charlies music and how it transfixed them. I don't think Melcher bought into brainwashing crap. Dennis wilson? Yes he ate it up but Melcher's personality wasn't swayed by mental trickery.

It seems Melcher was more interested until he went to Spahn and saw Manson beat some guy.

Music producers and mangers have been know to be very shady characters, often having ties to to the mafia.
There is something about Melcher which I have not figured out yet, but I seriously doubt Charlie was out to hurt or kill him. Melcher often gave money to Charlie, and was a "connection" for them.

I tend to think that Charlie was just not willing to go along with being controlled by the producers, he saw right through the games and tricks of the managers and producers, so that pretty much ended his music career.

No, I don't think that's the case. The girls were often heard saying how talented Charlie was, In prison Charlie was very dedicated to becoming a recording artist when he got out. I think Charlie's ego wasn't dead at all. I think Charlie was super PO'd at Melcher and meant to scare the Bejesus out of him. You don't cross Charlie and get away with it.

Charlie knew that Melcher had moved out of the house in Bel-Air and was living in Malibu.
Tex and the girls testified that Charlie told them to "go to the house the Melcher used to live at."

Melchr was not his only music connection, if he was so obsessed with being a recording artist he could have asked many other established musicians which he knew and was friends with to help him land a recording contract.

Trilogy that is very true about Charlie knowing Melcher no longer lived at Cielo the night of the murders. That is well documented by more than one police dept. Bugliosi knew that before the trials started. Family members testified that Charlie said there were piggies and movie stars at Cielo several days before the murders

It was also known that Charlie was mad when he was shunned that spring at Cielo by Altobelli . Manson was seen there by Sharon who asked "who was that creepy little guy?". No one who talked with Charlie at Cielo wanted him there and they talked down to him. When Mansom left Cielo he left PO'd.
